Count did REALLY well at Rosendale just about a month ago for the underdog and we're hoping that close victory will keep his moral really high and push him to win!
If not, we are still proud of him nonetheless and there will still be his salad in his bucket waiting for him at home

After the long drive down from Ontario to Lexington, Kentucky. The trailer pulled up to the gates of Paige Stud farms. Count was starting to get restless in the back of the trailer, knowing that he had finally arrived to his destination. The Large stud stuck his head out of the window and watched as the gates opened and the trailed went up the drive away.

Moments later Ailin, TJ, and Jenny brought Count out of the trailer and walked him down towards his new stall for the next couple of weeks before the race. Ailin was ordered to stay in Lexington until the race would start and Jenny and TJ would fly down a couple days before race day. Ailin was to make sure that Count was comfortable in his temporary surroundings and to make sure his footing was good on the track. Never had they raced on a Polymer track and only on dirt so they weren't positive how the out come would be on the account of no near by polymer tracks at home ground.

But it was clear that the new ground and track didnt bother Count which was clear on their first workout at PS. Ailin was proud of his boy and both of their talent surprised all the track officials and had made their way to the top 10 in the betting pools. Ailin rang Jenny and TJ to let them know what was going on and the whole staff of FCS were excited and couldn't wait for race day.

Finally the day had arrived. TJ and Jenny waited in the stands waiting for the race to began while Ailin and Count waited in the starting gate. All the other racers around them seemed to have been starting up a fuss and eager to go, but Count just stood in the gate, ears forward and eyes alert thinking of his "plan of attack" ( ) feeling completely Zen. The crowd was silent as the announcer started the count down. Ailin felt his heart in his throat as the finally 3 seconds came and then the air was filled with a ring and the gates flew open and the crowds shouted in excitement. Count Bolted out of the gate taking the early lead.

TJ: What's the distance?
Jenny: 9 furlongs.
TJ: He's more of a distance runner then a sprinter is he not?
Jenny: Yes but I believe he can do it. If Ailin lets him take the lead early like he is now then come back under at the 2.5 furlong to keep his stamina at top notch, let them pass him but keep just in front of the middle pack, trailing the leaders, they should be good. Then at the 7 furlong make his way to the front again and let it all out before the final turn at let him run down the long stretch. This should be a quick race if Ailin follows the plan.
TJ: Dang you got it all planner out. Tell me again why I'M trainer when your doing my job?
Jenny: Its my horse is it not?? hahaha
TJ: Fair enough, OH LOOK! They're coming around the second last turn!

The crowd stood up on their feet clapping and screaming for their bidding horses to move on. They came around the final corner coming up towards the home stretch and...
